IRIS VAN HERPEN HAUTE COUTURE SPRING/2012 Iekeline Stange

Italian Giambattista Valli (born in Rome, lives in Paris) and dutch Iris van Herpen (Born in Wamel, lives in Arnhem), are the new “Guests Designers” in Paris Haute Couture calendar. Giambattista, well known for his volumes and his strict silhouettes with exquisite patterns, started his carrier by Roberto Capucci, and then came Fendi, Krizia and in 1997 the Emanuel Ungaro´s pret-a-porter art direction . Finally in 2005 he introduced his own brand, which met the approval of critics and public, and became an usual name in the red carpets and fashion mags.
