Last night was the Vogue’s Fashion Night Out in New York. One of the events where you have to be was the installation work of Nicola Formichetti and Gage Clemenceau Architects at Boffo Space, where you could see a space all covered by mirrors in different shapes and dispositions, while light projectors moved their rays creating a sensation of spacecraft, or futuristic dream. Living in this “Space Odyssey” construction, mannequins of chrome wearing all the Lady Gaga’s outfits, created or selected by his friend and personal stylist Nicola Formichetti.
Some Paris Homme Fashion week designers seemed to be inspired by the 40′s argentinian Political Movement called “Descamisados” (Shirtless), and suggest elegant suits without any shirt underneath for Spring Summer 2012 collections. We don’t know if it’s just a fashion trend or a political declaration, but we could see it in almost all shows. Sebastian Sauve walking at Christian Lacroix Homme SS/2012
